Falkirk are trying to pass it in their own 18-yard box and their lucky that Braga slips because if Braga doesn't slip, he's got a free one-on-one with Bain.

It looked sloppy play from Falkirk but it looked really good pressure from Hearts.

Falkirk play themselves into trouble and give possession straight to Beni Baningime on the edge of their penalty area.

He passes to Harry Milne, but his shot is blocked.

Heart in mouth for Falkirk right-back Filip Lissah, whose pass back to Scott Bain is a bit short.

He's bailed out by his goalkeeper though, who reacts quickly to beat Alexandros Kyziridis to the ball.

I think John McGlynn will be relatively happy with the score line, not so much with the performance.

Falkirk are just beginning to settle into the game. Hearts are just lacking that final ball.

Falkirk look more comfortable now without the ball. They're more set now than what they were.

Falkirk's best move of the match releases Leon McCann into space and his long-range shot forces a save out of Alexander Schwolow in the Hearts goal.

It does seem a bit harsh after his heroics at Dens Park, John, but Gordon could easily come back into the Hearts team for next Sunday's vital league match against Celtic.

I don't think the service into Barney Stewart is what he is looking for. I think he's wanting the ball in the channels so he can chase it.

Falkirk are getting up the pitch a bit more, but can't keep the ball for any length of time.

Still, they are very much in this cup tie.

Hearts have very quickly figured out where the gaps are. It's not going side to side, it's a big diagonal from one side to the other.

They're drawing Falkirk all over to the one side and going from full-back to full-back.

After that early Hearts pressure, it's gone a wee bit flat.

Lovely play from Alexandros Kyziridis, who gets to the byeline and picks out Lawrence Shankland, but the Hearts skipper's header is straight at Falkirk goalkeeper Scott Bain.
