Russell Martin was guilty of shuffling his pack too much. The amount of substitutions he made and the formation changed a couple of times within the game and they became devoid of ideas. You can see why they are the lowest scorers in the league, they were toothless.

He's a man who is quite coy when it comes to the media Gary O'Neil. He can be quite downbeat. Understandably so.

But, as you can see by the pictures it is a big win for him, a potentially momentum-changing win.

The difference here this afternoon was Matheus Cunha. Wolves have difference makers in their side and an assist and stunning goal for him.

It was a interesting approach from Wolves, 29% possession and just four shots on target.

The scrutiny will now shift over the international break from Gary O'Neil to Russell Martin.

It was a better point for Everton given that they were away from home. Jordan Pickford made a big save in the last minute or so, but other than that West Ham didn't really threaten. Overall it was an awful game.

Brighton are the latest team to try and take advantage of Manchester City's sudden and unexpected fragility. Three defeats in a row in all competitions.

Fabian Hurzeler makes just one change - Adingra in for Kadioglu.

The returning Joao Pedro - last season's top scorer - and Matt O'Riley are big boosts back on the bench. As is Baleba.

For City, from defeat in Lisbon Akanji and Bernado Silva are only substitutes as is De Bruyne again. Gundogan and Walker come in.

It is a huge day for Simpson-Pusey as he makes his Premier League debut alongside it seems Gvardiol in central defence.

Never in his senior managerial career has Pep Guardiola lost four games in a row.

Fabian Hurzeler has said Brighton "shouldn't hide" and "shouldn't be afraid of anyone" as the club bids to continue the progression made in recent years.

The Seagulls finished sixth in the Premier League in 2022-23 and then reached the last 16 of last season's Europa League under previous boss Roberto de Zerbi.

Eighth-placed Brighton have now taken 16 points from their first 10 Premier League games under Hurzeler.

Last Sunday, Albion led league leaders Liverpool for almost an hour and took points off Arsenal at Emirates Stadium earlier this season.

"I don't want to be recognised or seen as the small Brighton and Hove Albion," said Hurzeler.

"It's more that we have a big potential in our squad. In football, it's about achieving things and that's why we shouldn't hide. We shouldn't be afraid of anyone.

"We should play with self-confidence and we should also put pressure on ourselves because in the end we want to achieve something and if we don't achieve the victories in the games we have failed and that's the truth. That's why we have to also be hard on ourselves and demand the best from ourselves."

Brighton ended up losing last week, but they absolutely played Liverpool off the park at Anfield for 45 minutes.

I'd not seen much of Seagulls midfielder Yasin Ayari beforehand but I was at the game for 5 Live, and what a great young player he looks. The same goes for Jack Hinshelwood too.

The way they played out from the back, with such bravery and confidence, was impressive and Liverpool had to dig very deep to recover from 1-0 down and beat them.

Manchester City are going to have to do the same to get back to winning ways. After they lost to Sporting on Tuesday, City midfielder Bernardo Silva said they are "in a dark place" at the moment but they are champions for a reason and I am expecting a response.

They have got a point to prove, and that might help them find the energy they will need.

Lots of intrigue around this today - although the talk of Manchester City being in some sort of deep crisis seems a little far-fetched.

They are, however, on a barren run by their own sky-standards and if they lose today it will be the first time they will have lost four successive games since a period between April and August 2006 under Stuart Pearce.

Misty, dank day on the coast as Brighton aim to add another big name to their list of scalps at home this season, which already includes Manchester United and Tottenham.

A lot the build-up to this one has been dominated by chat around Manchester City.

They've lost their past three games - albeit in three different competitions - for the first time in six years under Pep Guardiola.

There's still injury issues too. Nathan Ake and Manuel Akanji are only fit for the bench for the Blues so Kyle Walker and 19-year-old Jahmai Simpson-Pusey join Rico Lewis and Josko Gvardiol in defence.

Jeremy Doku, after substitute appearances in the past two matches, is not in the squad again. There's also no place for Jack Grealish despite his involvement in the England squad.

We'll bring you reaction from all of those 15:00 GMT games, but, in the meantime, we'll start building up to our next game: Brighton v Manchester City.

We've also got Liverpool v Aston Villa at 20:00 tonight, so don't go anywhere.

Composed and classy from Fulham. They're up to sixth in the table - level on points with Chelsea, Arsenal and Aston Villa.

It never felt like the direction of travel in this London derby was going anywhere else than for Fulham.

Palace were weary and depleted without many key players. They could drop into the bottom three after tomorrow's games.

HUGE fist pumps from Wolves boss Gary O'Neil before he leaves the Molineux pitch. He knows just how important that win was.

It is a huge win for Wolves, who were much better in the second half. And it is a massive win for Gary O'Neil and relieves a huge amount of pressure on him heading into the international break.

Wolves have their first win of the season and what a game to get it in! That's a huge relief for Gary O'Neil as his side rise off the foot of the table.

It'll be interesting to see what Southampton boss Russell Martin makes of the decisions that went against his side today.

Another cracker at the Gtech Community Stadium.

After 5-3 and 4-3 wins, Brentford win 3-2.

They have taken 16 points from a possible 18 at home this season now. There's been 29 goals in those six matches too.

And that is that. Fulham take the points at Selhurst Park after goals from Emile Smith Rowe and super sub Harry Wilson.

Yukinari Sugawara fires well over the top from a tight angle. That just about sums Southampton up in an attacking sense.

So close to an equaliser!

Bournemouth were struggling to create until Marcus Tavernier found some space down the left.

His cross in is headed against the bar by Enes Unal as Mark Flekken attempts to collect the cross but runs into bodies.

Brentford then throw bodies in the way to block any follow-ups.
