Good evening and welcome to something new!

To mark the end of the football season - well almost the end, there's still the Champions League final on Saturday - we thought we'd celebrate with some awards.

96 of our pundits, commentators and journalists have been voting for 27 awards across the Premier League, Scottish Premiership, Women's Super League and EFL for the BBC Football Awards.

Over the next two hours we'll be building up to the Premier League Player of the Season unveiling, as chosen by our team.

Along the way we'll also be handing out a load of other awards like breakthrough player, goal of the season, and even most predictable sacking.
