I think at the start, they would have thought “If we can play well and not embarrass ourselves, because it is Celtic and not at our home park, let’s just do ourselves proud”.

Martin O’Neill will have learned a lot today about players who are on the fringes.

He and his backroom staff will have a meeting and they’ll say “He didn’t grasp his opportunity” or “I don’t think he did well enough” or “He did do well enough”.

James Forrest did well and Luke McCowan worked hard but there’s too many that have kind of gone through the motions.

I would be raging if I was James Forrest, unless he’s injured.

The fact that he’s not played as much and he’s been playing well today. I think he’s probably been Celtic’s best player.
