Summary

  1. Final whistlepublished at 21:54 GMT 20 February

Coleraine 1-0 Ballymena United; Larne 2-3 Carrick Rangers

Well, we said earlier it was set to be an intriguing night in the Irish Premiership and so it proved.

Table-toppers Larne fall to defeat for a second game with Carrick's first-half blitz enough to see them claim a big win at Inver Park.

Coleraine took full advantage as they saw off Ballymena United to narrow the gap on the leaders to just two points.

We will leave it there for tonight but we're back tomorrow with four games in the Irish Premiership including the 'Big Two' clash between Linfield and Glentoran at Windsor Park, a game you can watch live on the BBC iPlayer and BBC sport NI website and app at 18:00 GMT.

Enjoy the rest of your Friday.
