    The big striker does everything right but Ryan Schofield is equal to the task, sticking out a big left leg to keep the ball out of his net.

    The rebound falls to Lewis Harrison whose follow-up effort is brilliantly blocked by Coleraine captain Lyndon Kane, getting back to help out.

    A great chance for the visitors to pull a goal back with just under 20 minutes remaining.

    Half-time at the Showgrounds where the home side lead 2-0 thanks to early goals from the twin strike force of Joel Cooper and Matthew Shevlin.

    Cooper opened the scoring after just seven minutes, finishing off a fine team move with a smart strike, before Shevlin added a second eight minutes later, thanks to a Cooper assist.

    Bangor rallied in the closing stages of the first half and Jack O'Mahony went close from a corner in the dying moments.

    Signs of encouragement then for the visitors against the league leaders.
