So many holes for France to exploit. Antoine Griezmann has all the time in the world to launch a shot at goal, although his eventual shot is blocked.

Ousmane Dembele has been France's most electric player so far and bursts clear down the right for the umpteenth time.
His cross into the middle for onrushing duo Olivier Giroud and Kylian Mbappe though has far too much zip on it. Goal kick.

An Austrian win of their group would be richly deserved. They've really looked to make the most of individual and team resources which have proved more than equal to those of the two powerhouses!

The Austria fans are all on their feet waving scarves, shirts and flags as they continue to celebrate their second goal, and applaud the players going off.
The Dutch fans are also stood up, but were whistling loudly to show their disapproval at how long those Austrian substitutions took.

The pendulum has swung once more, with France now in pole position for the top spot in Group D, while Austria would go through in second.
As it stands, the Netherlands would be England's round-of-16 opponents if the Three Lions finish top of Group C.

What a game this is, it has ebbed and flowed both ways but Austria find themselves in front again.

Replays show the ball did come off a Dutch player but I think Romano Schmid's effort was going in anyway. I hope they don't put that one down as an own goal.

Brilliant from Bradley Barcola. The Frenchman collects the ball in his own half; he looks up but doesn't have a teammate offering so gets his head down again and almost runs the length of the pitch.
He glides past Jan Bednarek in the box, but his shot from a tight angle is saved by Lukasz Skorupski.

This is the third meeting between France and Poland in a major tournament, and first at the UEFA European Championship. Poland won a third place play-off match 3-2 at the 1982 FIFA World Cup, while France won 3-1 in the round of 16 at the 2022 World Cup.
France are unbeaten in their last eight meetings with Poland in all competitions (W4 D4), since losing a friendly match 4-0 in August 1982.
France haven’t won their final group stage match in any of the last eight major tournaments (World Cup/EUROs), since beating Togo 2-0 at the 2006 FIFA World Cup (D4 L4).
Poland have lost their final group stage match in three of their four previous appearances at the UEFA European Championship, with the exception being a 1-0 win against Ukraine in 2016 – the only time they’ve reached the knockout rounds of the competition.

If he plays in this game, Antoine Griezmann will overtake Lilian Thuram (32) as the outfield player with the most major tournament (World Cup/EUROs) appearances for France (currently on 32).
Piotr Zielinski has been directly involved in more shots than any other Poland player at EURO 2024 (11 – seven shots, four chances created), as well as completing the most passes for his side (68) across the first two rounds.
N'Golo Kanté has made more major tournament appearances without losing than any other European player, with France unbeaten in all 17 games he’s played across the UEFA European Championship and FIFA World Cup (W12 D5).
