"Obviously his qualities are without question. He's one of the superstars of the modern era.

"He's had injury issues coming into the tournament and I'm sure Carlo Ancelotti will use him wisely.

"Coming from the bench he can certainly give the team a lift."

"I think the characteristics of Brazil as a national team is they have to attack. It's what people expect.

"They did enough to qualify. To finish fifth was maybe a disappointment, but in their games here they have shown they are a threat."

Steve is asked about being under dogs and being caught "off guard" at the start against Morocco. What will he change?

"All the players are fit except Aaron Hickey.

"Obviously we started slow against Morocco which made for a long and difficult night. Hopefully we start a lot better against Brazil."

He'as asked if Scotland will be conservative against Brazil...

"I don't want to say anything because I've got the Scottish media here and they kill me for being too conservative.

"We can be very flexible with our system."

    How dare you, Steve.

"I think in terms of would we like to face Mexico, first of all for Scotland we have to get there.

"I'd love to go back to the Azteca stadium because I played there in the Under 19 World Cup.

"I managed to score a goal there as Scotland beat Mexico 1-0. Hopefully we'll have a repeat."

Steve Clarke is asked a question from a Brazilian journalist.

"It's been a long time since Scotland have been at a World Cup, it's 28 years.

"We won our group in Europe. In terms of the competition itself, it's great to see so many countries involved."

I assume he was asked about the expanded format...

The water and juice bottles are on the top table, the tablets saying "MIAMI" in case you forgot are in position.

We can't be far aw... in fact, never mind.

Aaron Hickey trained alone again today.

The Brentford right-back is dealing with load management issues but has not been ruled out of Wednesday's big game.

Hickey played for 75 minutes in the 1-0 win over Haiti but was absent for the 1-0 defeat by Morocco on Friday.

Brazil finished fifth in a very tight South American qualifying campaign.

They lost six of their 18 qualifiers, going down to Uruguay, Colombia, Paraguay, Bolivia and twice to Argentina.

In the past year, they have also lost friendlies to Japan and France, while there was a draw with Tunisia.

No other nation has five stars on their badge like Brazil.

However, the Selecao have only reached the World Cup last four in one of the past five tournaments since last winning the trophy in 2002.

That semi-final was a painful 7-1 thrashing on home soil by Germany at the Maracana in 2014.

Brazil have lost in quarter-finals against France, Netherlands, Belgium and Croatia either side of that dark day.

A different feel to this place rather than Boston, but still very cool. Although cool maybe isn't the right word.

A member of staff here told us 30 minutes ago we've had our weather warning upgraded to red as lightning is withing eight miles.

    So that's nice.

The Tartan Army have been topping up the tan in south Florida over the last couple of days, but the weather can turn quickly here!

Just 10 miles from the scorching heat which bid us farewell in downtown Miami, here's our very own Eilidh Barbour squelching her way into the stadium with thunder and lightning cracking in the distance.

She's also standing on the middle of a grand prix track as well, need to get the full wet tyres on the hire car for going home.

We are expecting Andy Robertson and Steve Clarke within the next 15 minutes, so stick with us while I bang on a bit about the weather.

Hello all, welcome to Miami Stadium and to Scotland's pre-match press conference going into Wednesday's big one against Brazil.

Everything in America is bigger, even the dressing rooms, which are huge enough to host today's event. What a place.
