Romania 2-1 Wales
A lovely cross by Sorba Thomas, but Cameron Congreve can only tamely steer it towards goal after Lewis Koumas just missed the cross.

Wales faced Romania for the first time since 1993
Wales' 18-year wait for a win in an away friendly was extended as they suffered a 2-1 loss to Romania.
Following a bright start from the visitors in Bucharest, Romania - led by Gheorghe Hagi on home soil for the first time in his second stint as boss - were unlucky not to go ahead when Louis Munteanu's thumping hit was incorrectly ruled out for offside.
They were not to be denied in the second half as substitute Florinel Coman's composed finish - his third international goal - put the home side in front.
Wales had a substitute of their own to thank shortly after the hour mark as David Brooks volleyed Dan James' cross beyond Stefan Tarnovanu just three minutes after coming off the bench.
But Adrian Rus headed David Matei's cross into the net late on as Wales remain without an away friendly win since 2008.
As both sides suffered World Cup play-off heartache, Romania and Wales now switch their focus to the Nations League, which gets under way in September.
Like father like son - international goals run in the family
On the eve of the contest, Bellamy referenced his side's woeful away record in friendly fixtures.
Wales are now without a victory in 17 away friendly matches - a run that stretches back to November 2008, when Bellamy himself scored the only goal of the contest to earn his side a 1-0 triumph over Denmark.
He called for dominance in Bucharest, and in terms of controlling possession, the head coach got his wish.
Wales fully dictated the opening stages, with captain Ethan Ampadu, Brennan Johnson and Kieffer Moore all having early chances.
But they were fortunate not to be punished for failing to make the most of those opportunities when - shortly after Tudor Baluta drilled at Danny Ward - Munteanu unleashed a piledriver into the net, only to be wrongly denied by the offside flag.
Ward then recovered from his own error to tip over another Munteanu effort before Nicolae Stanciu curled a free-kick agonisingly wide to bring an end to an entertaining opening half.
Daniel James and Coman both had efforts early on in the second half, although the latter made his mark just seven minutes after coming off the bench.
The hosts attacked Wales' right flank, and Darius Olaru picked out Coman who had space around 10 yards out to coolly slot beyond Ward.
Wales needed a spark, and Bellamy sent on Connor Roberts, Lewis Koumas and Brooks with an hour gone.
The changes reaped instant rewards as James charged up the left flank, and his floated cross found Brooks unmarked at the back post as the Bournemouth ace levelled proceedings with his seventh international goal.
After pegging back Hagi's men, Wales pushed for a winner, with Tarnovanu denying Koumas and Cameron Congreve in quick succession.
But the hosts found the net for a second time as Rus nodded Matei's delivery into the net.
After Matei then struck the post, Koumas was superbly denied a second last-gasp equaliser in the June international camp as Rus blocked his goalbound shot.
That ensured the men in yellow were able to celebrate after earning Hagi his first victory since being appointed as Romania boss in April - leaving Wales to rue their missed opportunities.

Romania have won three of their last four games against Wales in all competitions (L1), with this their first since a 2-1 win in November 1993 at Cardiff Arms Park.
Wales have lost their two previous away games against Romania, losing 2-0 in November 1971 in a UEFA EURO qualifier and 5-1 in May 1992 in a FIFA World Cup qualification match. Â
Romania have won seven of their last nine (L2) and each of their last three home games in all competitions – they last won four in a row on home soil between June and November 2017.
Each of Wales’ last three matches have ended 1-1, with the team scoring first pegged back each time – the Dragons last drew more consecutive matches in all competitions between October 2016 and June 2017 (run of 5).
Earlier this week against Georgia, Gheorghe Hagi took charge of his first game as Romania manager (1-1) since November 2001 vs Slovenia, almost 25 years ago. His only win in charge of the nation came in September that year vs Hungary.
Each of Wales’ last seven goals have been scored in the second halves of games, their longest run since May 1992 (also 7) – the Dragons have scored in the 90th minute or later in three of their last 13 matches, as often as across their prior 27 outings. Â
Despite him coming on a substitute in the 60th minute, only Dan James (4) had more shots in Wales 1-1 Ghana earlier this week than Lewis Koumas (3) – he will be aiming to be the first player to net their first goal for the Dragons, and then also score in their next cap since Brennan Johnson in June 2022. Â
Jayden Lienou (18y 60d) could become the youngest defender to win their first cap for Wales since Chris Gunter vs New Zealand in May 2007 (17y 309d), who went on to win more caps than any other defender for the nation (109). Â
