That was Villa's first shot of the game.

It's enough to win the visitors a corner.

We're a minute into the second half and nothing's changed from the first half.

Again, Aston Villa are inviting the cross. Nobody is putting pressure on the cross.

Chelsea have started the second half the way they finished the first.

A cross is whipped into the Villa box and the home side want a penalty as the ball appears to strike Ian Maatsen on the hand.

Nothing given.

Fulham

Fulham's Harry Wilson, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "It was a big win for us again. I think that's three away wins in a row for us now and before that we hadn't won, so that was a real turning point in our season, especially away from home. We know in this league it's important that we don't just pick up points at home, we're good on the road as well. Delighted to win again away from home again and another clean sheet which the gaffer is onto us about all the time.

"It wasn't the greatest game. I think there was a few chances but not a lot happened in the game but I feel like from our point of view, if you're not going to win it, let's not lose it. But we also knew it was going to take maybe a mistake from them, or a moment from us, and it was great when i put that ball in to see Raul [Jimenez] waiting and I always knew he was going to put it in the back of the net."

Everton

Everton boss David Moyes, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "You wouldn't want to watch too much of that, certainly from our point of view. Burnley might have different thoughts but from our point of view it wasn't a good performance. We have been playing quite well recently but today wasn't one of our best.

"It's a difficult time. Lots of games and different things going on, but I was disappointed that we didn't play better, because we can do a lot better than we played. We go away with a point and a clean sheet so there are some positives to take from it.

"I'm not happy at all because I didn't come here for a point, I came here to take three, but we never really got going right from the start. I never thought we got into second gear. But when you can't play so well you've got to try and take something from the game and we did do."

On Everton's penalty shout: "I saw one right at the end where O'Brien heads the ball onto the boy's arm which was up in the air - we got done with a penalty last week. So that is the only one I've seen but someone did tell me that there was another one."

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler, speaking to BBC Sport: "We proved in the second half [we could do better]. I think the games when we play are never done, we proved it this season so far that we can always compete.

"We were close to making it 2-2, we had chances and we were in the game but in the end we weren't able to score.

"The small margins make the difference and we have to understand how important they are.

"We proved in the second half [we can compete] but it is about doing it for 90 minutes. If you aren't doing it for 45 minutes then you have to be defensively good. We definitely have to improve there."

Arsenal

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, speaking to BBC Sport: "Against a very good side we were very dominant and the margins should have been much bigger, but they score a goal and it is game on. It should have been a bigger score.

"When you look across the league the margins are very small, we are playing every few days and asking players to play in positions they have never played before, so I'm really happy.

"The players always have to be ready, in the warm up there can be something and you have to be in the right mental space.

"That's what I love about the team, with everything we're going through, the way we react and want to take the next step is brilliant to watch."

Burnley

Burnley boss Scott Parker, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "I thought we were well worthy of the three points. We came here understanding what we needed to be and we were every bit of that. The fine margins of what the Premier League is, we didn't put our chances away when we had some real good chances.

"We're frustrated because we were very, very close today to getting the three points and we've not managed to do that. It's a clean sheet, a point and a good performance and that's what encourages me."

On the Bruun Larsen's chance: "That was the one. It was a big chance for us, Flem's one at the end as well. I know the linesman has given it offside but I think that would have been marginal. While of course we can be downbeat in terms of the chances and not putting them away, we've created them and took a very good team right to it.

"I don't want to be too critical at this moment in time because I thought we were the dominant team. We showed an endeavour, a will and understood where and what we needed to be - that shows progression for this group.

"A football match is a boxing match. You often find that unless someone has a knockout blow then it gets to the eighth or ninth before it comes alive, and that was probably it today. At the back end we showed a real commitment and endeavour to win the game. Before that it was nip and tuck and both teams jabbing away.

"It's two games now where we have picked up a point and while of course we would have liked more, it's something to build on."

Liverpool

Liverpool goal scorer Florian Wirtz, speaking to BBC Final score on his scoring his first goal for the Reds: "It was very nice for me to score my first goal since I have joined the club. In the end we go the three points and I really happy.

"First it was a long ball from Wolves and we made good contact with Hugo and I was hoping that he saw me. His quality that he gave me with the pass, not everyone will see this pass [too me] but I am thankful he did and he gave me the opportunity today."

On life since joining the Premier League: I know it's the hardest league in the world and I just have to get used to the physicality and the players around me on the pitch in the midfield. Every game I feel a bit better and I want to continue feeling like that.

"This year it's nice [not having a Christmas break], last year I was on winter holiday and I was watching football and Premier League so I am sure some of my old teammates were watching me today. I liked it today but sometimes I want to have a bit of a break."

On the tribute to Diogo Jota: "Of course it was a special day for Jota. I didn't know him but everyone was telling me about him was saying he was a good guy and a nice human being. I am happy the club still remembers him so much and helps his family. I thought it was very good what they did with his kids and I am very happy for them."

On Liverpool's progression going forward: "I think we are hitting rhythm. The last games were really good and we are doing better. We have to try and avoid getting ourselves in trouble. It's good when we climb a bit in the league."

Brentford

Brentford captain Nathan Collins, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "Well-deserved, I thought the way we started the first half was really good, the energy we brought. They made it tough in the second half but we stuck in and dug in and we did well.

"The way this league is, teams are so even it's just who runs harder sometimes.

"I'm loving it, we're all really enjoying it. This is something we can build on, going into the next game we should be confident and excited that we can go and get another result."

On the impact of manager Keith Andrews: "I've said this 1,000 times now. The way the club set us up in the summer was just unbelievable. It was made so easy for the lads. You can see what we've done this season, we've backed him, we're doing this for him. And we're a good team, so he doesn't have too much to do."

On Kevin Schade scoring his hat-trick: "There's been frustration this season. He's not had rewards for the work he puts in. Today he got his reward. He puts the effort in, he's up and down the pitch. Today he got his reward. I'm not surprised he's scoring hat-tricks.

"It's not the first time people have written us off. It's exciting. I'm enjoying it, we're all enjoying it. There could be worse places to be at the moment. Christmas time, we're winning football matches, we're looking forward to the next one."

Bournemouth

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "I think the game is quite easy to analyse. We cannot start playing in the second half. If we lose in the second half I'm all in for it.

"But in the first half we weren't recognisable. We were not aggressive, we did not want to attack. I'm very disappointed with our performance in the first half. We completely deserved the 2-0.

"You cannot concede 45 minutes in the Premier League, no chance. We haven't been aggressive enough. We had to be brave. There has to be an intensity and there wasn't in the first half. I was so disappointed at half-time. I did three changes, I could've done more."

Are you concerned about Bournemouth's poor form?: "No, I'm concerned about our performance in the first half. I accept you can lose games, but in the second half we were perfect.

"We have to look at ourselves why we were 45 minutes late to start the game. We can accept mistakes, missed passes, but you have to give 100%, today it was not like this in the beginning."
