Florian Wirtz plays a lovely ball for Federico Chiesa deep in the Wolves box. His cross is blocked by the foot of Jose Sa and falls nicely for Milos Kerkez.

When I say he's almost cleared the Anfield Road end with his shot, I mean it.

West Ham are applying some decent pressure as half-time approaches, but so far Fulham have been equal to some pretty dangerous crosses into the box.

Brighton are playing a wing-back system today but they've been a bit exposed.

Let's see because they're only 1-0 down and they could get something on the break.

Ouch! That's a sore one for Mikel Merino as Yasin Ayari slips just before making a tackle and crashes into the Arsenal man. An obvious free-kick but nothing more, and Merino is able to get back to his feet without too much fuss.

What happened there?

Fulham captain Joachim Andersen takes a pot shot from 30 yards out which looks to be straight at Alphonse Areola, but the West Ham goalkeeper just about blocks the shot with his feet before his defenders clear the danger.

To say he made a bit of a meal of that is putting it lightly.

Already it looks like this will be an afternoon where Liverpool will have their patience tested. Wolves are trying to get every man behind the ball and so far, they've defended well.

Teenager Mateus Mane powers through the pitch with the ball and fancies his luck. He hammers it towards goal but Alisson watches it fly over the top.

It's been far from a thriller at Anfield.

Wolves are doing their best to take the sting out of this one and it's working so far.

Brighton have done alright so far. Out of possession they look pretty solid and they are really clogging things up in midfield. In possession they get maximum width and are trying to pin that Arsenal back four back, so they are able to dominate the ball in the midfield area.

Smooth operator Kevin Schade is Cherishing the Day. He leads another counter attack but can't find a team-mate in the middle. Moments later he has a header punched clear by Bournemouth keeper Djordje Petrovic.

Declan Rice has been put on long-throws for Arsenal this season and it is fair to say they aren't as potent as other long-throws in the league.

The latest one he tries with everybody in the area waiting bounces before any Arsenal player can attack it.

There's warm applause for Gabriel as he goes through some drills on the touchline, having been named in the matchday squad for the first time since early November.

That's a huge positive for Mikel Arteta to have him back and available, not least on a day when fellow defenders Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori have missed out.

On the pitch, Arsenal continue to probe but Brighton are managing to avoid further damage.

A crunching aerial challenge between Clarets skipper Josh Cullen and Charly Alcaraz leaves Everton's Argentine player rubbing his head.

It can't have hurt that much because moments later Alcaraz attacks a cross by Tyler Dibling but his header is straight at Burnley goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.

Fulham remind West Ham of the threat they pose with a swift break, but Raul Jimenez can't quite get on the end of Antonee Robinson's early cross.

Jimenez loves a goal against the Hammers.
