  1. Final whistlepublished at 22:39 GMT 13 January

That is all from us after a busy evening in the Irish Premiership and Irish Cup.

League leaders Larne stretched their advantage at the top to 10 points with their victory over Glentoran while Carrick drew with Linfield and Cliftonville rescued a point against Ballymena.

In the Irish Cup, Portadown and Institute progressed to the sixth round in normal time while Glenavon and Warrenpoint required extra time to go through.

You can find reports, highlights and reaction from tonight's games on the BBC Sport website.

We will be back on Friday for another live stream as Linfield host Larne at Windsor Park.

See you then but for now, goodnight.

  5. RED CARDpublished at 22:14 GMT 13 January

    Glenavon 4-2 Newington

Quite the day for Mikey Harkin. He signed his first pro contract with Larne, gone on loan to Glenavon, set up a goal and has now been sent off late in extra-time.

He has been shown a red card for a high boot and, to make matters worse, Glenavon will finish with nine men as Nathaniel Ferris has succumbed to cramp and Michael O'Connor has no subs left. It shouldn't matter now but far from ideal.
