"I'm totally convinced we'll go in the right direction, but we need to work hard," he adds.

All three teams who represented Scotland tonight feature on a very busy Sunday card in the Premiership.
Aberdeen host Motherwell as Rangers travel to Dundee (both 15:00 GMT) before Celtic welcome Kilmarnock (16:00).
League leaders Hearts are also in action against Dundee United at Tynecastle.

"We played better in the second half, but at this level we are playing against top teams. You get punished if you're not at it, and we weren't at it in the first half. And from there it's a really difficult task."

Rangers boss Danny Rohl tells TNT Sports: "Not so much in the game, two times they were clinical. Until minute 75, we were in the game. But you need the momentum, to score, to come back.
"In some moments we were not sharp enough. Second half we found more space and were more flexible.
"At the moment, this journey, we have to make small steps and our focus is on Sunday to get a third league win in a row."

Barely a whimper greeted the referee's full-time whistle. Large swathes of blue seats were long since vacated as the Rangers faithful headed for an early exit.
Their side were well beaten here this evening and never really looked on the same level as their Serie A opponents.
A two-goal half-time deficit was never in danger, although there was an improvement in the home side after the break.
Not hard, given the gulf between these two sides in the first period.
Rangers' 26-year wait for a home victory over Italian opposition continues. As does their search for a first Europa League point, with Braga up next here later this month.
It's also a sobering and record-breaking seventh straight European defeat for the Ibrox side.

This is the first ever meeting between Rangers and Roma in European competition – the Gers have failed to score in their last four major European games against Italian sides (D2 L2) since a 3-2 win over Livorno in October 2006.
Roma last met Scottish opponents in Europe back in April 1984, facing Dundee United in the European Cup semi-final. After losing the first leg 2-0, they won 3-0 in the second leg to progress 3-2 on aggregate.
Rangers have lost their last six European matches (inc. qualifiers), their joint worst ever losing run in Europe. The only two Scottish clubs to lose more in a row are Hibernian (seven between 2008 and 2016) and Motherwell (eight between 2010 and 2013).
Roma have lost their last two UEFA Europa League matches but haven’t lost three major European matches in a row since September 2010, while in the same season they last did so in September/October in the 2004-05 UEFA Champions League.
James Tavernier’s next UEFA Europa League appearance will see him equal Andreas Ulmer’s record for games played for a single club – Ulmer played 61 times for FC RB Salzburg, with Tavernier on 60 games for Rangers currently.
