BBC ALBA and BBC Sport will broadcast 38 live matches from Italy's Serie A this season.

One league match per round will be shown, with BBC ALBA broadcasting 19 live games with Gaelic and English co-commentary, while BBC Sport will stream a further 19 on BBC iPlayer with English commentary.

Scotland duo Kieron Bowie and Josh Doig start for Sassuolo for Sunday's trip to Atalanta.

But Napoli star Scott McTominay remains the main Scottish draw, while club-mate Billy Gilmour is returning from the knee injury that cost him a place at the World Cup and will hope to feature more prominently under new manager Massimiliano Allegri.

A Coppa Italia winner in 2025, fellow Scotland midfielder Lewis Ferguson is preparing for his fifth campaign with Bologna.

Torino striker Che Adams and Udinese teenager Lennon Miller make up the Scottish international contingent, while England defenders Djed Spence and John Stones both joined champions Inter Milan this summer.

AC Milan pair Fikayo Tomori and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have both represented England in the past, as has new Cagliari midfielder Harry Winks.

The deal adds to BBC Sport's European football portfolio, which features Bundesliga and La Liga clips.
