Tottenham have confirmed the signing of Omar Marmoush on a season-long loan from Manchester City, with an obligation to buy next summer.

"It feels amazing to be here. I'm so excited to get started with the team and I can't wait to meet the fans," the 27-year-old Egypt forward said.

"Tottenham Hotspur is one of the biggest clubs in England, if not the world, and the project was very attractive to me.

"I've spoken with the head coach, I loved what he had to say and I'm sure our passion for the game will go very well together."

Bournemouth

Bournemouth boss Marco Rose on whether he feels more additions are needed before the transfer window closes: "I've said several times that I feel we are in a really good spot. We have a competitive team already, despite it not being really big. We have competition of at least two players in every position and that should be enough. We also have enough to take care of our players' load. For me, it isn't necessary to be looking for any other players right now."

On feeling confident that Alex Scott will still be a Bournemouth player come 2 September: "I'm not just confident, I'm sure. I'm not just quite sure, I'm sure. Forget 100%, is there a 120%? That's how sure I am.

"We know we aren't going to sell anyone. That's what we said, that's what we were going for, and now we just have a few more days of rumours left. Our point of view was always very clear - we wanted to try to keep this group together. We had already lost two important players in Marcos Senesi and Alex Jimenez."

Bournemouth

Bournemouth boss Marco Rose started off with an injury update: "We look in a good spot. The long-term absentees remain the same, but Ryan Christie is back from his suspension and injury. Tyler Adams, Juanlu Sanchez and Julio Soler have had one more week of training as well, so the situation in the squad is good."

On whether Alvaro Rodriguez is still building up fitness after being benched last weekend: "No, he is ready to go. At the end of the day, it is all about adapting to the demands and the intensity of the Premier League for him. That's what we are working on. He had a good week of training, we are going step-by-step with not only him but also Juanlu Sanchez. He is progressing in a good way."

Jack Grealish's preference would be to return to Everton should he leave Manchester City in the remaining days of the transfer window, sources have told BBC Sport.

And City hold an interest in signing Toffees winger Iliman Ndiaye, who has rejected multiple contract offers on Merseyside.

Grealish, 30, has appeared as a substitute in City's opening two games of the season, but new boss Enzo Maresca is open to letting the Englishman leave the club before Tuesday's transfer deadline.

Nidaye, meanwhile, is a player City are looking at.

Saudi side Al-Hilal held a strong interest in signing the Senegal international this summer, but the 26-year-old reportedly turned down the move.

David Moyes' side are under no pressure to sell Ndiaye, whose contract runs until 2029, and are likely to demand a significant fee in the region of £70m to even consider a sale.

Hull City

Hull boss Sergej Jakirovic on how he is enjoying his experience so far as a Premier League manager: "I enjoy very much. Still for me this is football and I am just doing my hob. It is a great motivation for me that I can show my potential and we can be competitive and play against much bigger teams. We want to prove everybody wrong and that we are on a good way. That is good motivation."

On whether his side suit being underdogs?: "Of course we are underdogs. We spent £144m in transfer market. Who is close to us? Coventry spent £260m/£270m.

"It's normal but still money doesn't play. Always that is my opinion. I never see money scoring the goal, it is players. As a team we can be dangerous and competitive."

Hull City

Hull boss Sergej Jakirovic on his club's pursuit of French forward Mohamed-Ali Cho and German forward Ilyas Ansah: "We agreed everything with Ali Cho so I think he will be announced today.

"With Ansah he will go for a medical check so after I expect tomorrow it will be finished. This is a great signing for us."

Hull City

Hull boss Sergej Jakirovic was asked about the team news and whether there will be any changes from the opening day win over Manchester United: "We are fine. All these players had a training session today.

"We are all completely fine. So, we are ready for Saturday."

On rotating his full starting XI for Tuesday's Carabao Cup second round tie at Stoke, which the Tigers won on penalties: "We use this opportunity to give minutes to the players who arrived and it was great because it's also about adaptation.

"It means we can have more players for the next games and I was very pleased because they played a good game."

On his decisions behind the starting XI and players used in the victory over Coventry, Mikel Arteta said: "For some of them it was physical as they still can't last the 90 minutes and we didn't want to expose them.

"Others were tactical, or a feeling that I have in the game."

Another part of why Bukayo Saka looks like he is in a flow state so early in the season is the return of Kai Havertz, Martin Odegaard and Ben White to full fitness.

There is no debate that White and Saka's partnership down the right-hand side, with the defender's overlapping runs, unlock the best in Saka.

The partnership he has with Odegaard and Havertz is also crucial to a fluid Arsenal attack and the win over Coventry was just the second time since December 2024 that the trio started a Premier League game together, such have been their injury problems.

There have been questions about whether Arteta is too reliant on Saka, and before the start of this season the winger had played 153 matches, with 61 of them being the full 90 minutes, across the past three seasons.

But with an enforced break through injury and then lower minutes at the World Cup, he could be about to produce the regular scintillating performances we have become used to.

On Jurrien Timber and William Saliba, who are both sidelined with respective injuries, Mikel Arteta said: "Jurrien is progressing really well. Let's see how he ends this week.

"We have increased his load so if everything goes well then next we can step it up again.

"Willy [Saliba] is in a much more conservative program right now. That's going to take a while."

In response to whether he has any sympathy for Villa boss Unai Emery after losing so many players this summer, Mikel Arteta said: "He's one of the most experienced managers in the league and one of the most successful. That's without a question of doubt.

"It's just one game. I'm sure he will turn it around."

On managing players in the transfer window when there's so much speculation, Mikel Arteta said: "Very simply - knock on my door and I'll tell you if what you are reading is true.

"If we put names on the walls of all the players we've wanted in the last few months I think we'd need a whole new building to put it on.

"They know a lot is speculation. If they feel in doubt of what we think of them then I tell them straight away.

"If we're going to sign somebody in their position then I tell them."
