Jod: Postecoglou is supposed to be a failure. Yet he did more than Mourinho or Conte at Spurs and actually won a trophy. A favourite line is he almost got them relegated. In fact he finished 13 points clear of relegation and winning the Europa League was much more valuable than finishing a bit higher in the league. Having said that he was never a good fit for Forest.

Ange Postecoglou is a character. He is something different and he will be missed if he is not in the Premier League.
When you have played seven games in 38 days you have not had a lot of time with your players on the training pitch.
The biggest worry for me is no clean sheets for a team that had 13 (in the Premier League) last season.

Nottingham Forest boss Ange Postecoglou, speaking to TNT Sports on using the international break for a reset: "Not so much a rest, but a chance to reflect on the first period. We had a good couple of weeks training. Players who will start today like Murillo, Douglas Luiz and Zinchenko, we did really good work with them. We hadn't had the time to do a lot of training since we started so those two weeks have been invaluable for that."
On the return of Murillo, Douglas Luiz and Zinchenko: "They have proven Premier League experience. Murillo has hardly played for us, but when Dougie and Zinchenko have played they have made a difference to us so I'm sure they will contribute today."
On what growth fans can expect to see: "Whatever I say is irrelevant. No one wants to win more than me. I'm certainly not happy we haven't won so far but it hasn't been for the want of trying and we have been in games we should have won. Hopefully that win comes today and some of the noise dies down a little bit, I don't think it will totally go but we will certainly kick out a few weeds and hopefully see a few more flowers."

I think Forest will nick a win today especially with all of Chelsea's key players out injured. Forest have a good chance today!

Ange Postecoglou has said he did not expect it to be love at first sight with Nottingham Forest fans but, so far, it is a tense relationship and you sense some chocolates and a bunch of flowers are not going to repair things.
The international break arguably came at a bad time for Postecoglou, who will be desperate for more time on the training pitches with his Forest squad.
He had six games in his first 23 days, limiting the time to implement his style of high pressure and pressing, which is vastly different to the compact and direct counter-attacking nature of predecessor Nuno's team.
Postecoglou has been without 12 players who went away with their countries, including Morgan Gibbs-White and Elliot Anderson with England.

The treatment that Ange Postecoglou is getting from Nottingham Forest fans is just ridiculous. It saddens me, actually, that they are calling for him to be sacked after just seven games - and I don't think it's fair at all.
In many ways I hope Forest win (against Chelsea), to take the heat off Postecoglou a little, but I don't see it happening.

I am worried for Chelsea today. I fear they will be faced with a team with a point to prove, and in seasons gone by, Chelsea would not cope well. Bookies seem to agree too.

Taiwo Awoniyi makes his first appearance since being put in an induced coma in May, following urgent abdominal surgery after a collision with the post during last season's game with Leicester.
Murillo, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Douglas Luiz, and Ibrahim Sangare return from the 2-0 defeat at Newcastle while striker Chris Wood is on the bench having picked up a minor knee issue with New Zealand.

Booyakasha: As a Celtic supporter I love Ange. But him getting this job was the worst decision he or Forest could have made. He should never have taken it - the style differences between him and Nuno are too big, plus his strength is coming to a club that is struggling/need rebuild - the exact opposite of Forest! Writing definitely on the wall and he has tarnished his reputation unfortunately.

Fulham have only won one of their last 14 Premier League games against Arsenal (D4 L9), a 2-1 victory in December 2023. Indeed, the Cottagers have conceded at least once in each of their last 20 against the Gunners in the competition.
After winning five successive league visits to Fulham from 2012-13 to 2022-23, Arsenal have since failed to win at Craven Cottage in both of the last two campaigns (D1 L1). The Gunners last failed to win more consecutive league visits to Fulham in April 1962 (6).
