I think USA needed to score there if they wanted to get something out of the game.

The United States win a corner.

There's still time in this one for them to find something but Thibaut Courtois gathers from Folarin Balogun's header.

Folarin Balogun gets on a really good run down the left-hand side and he tries to squeeze it past Thibaut Courtois at his near post but the Belgian keeper parries away.

Kevin de Bruyne remains engrossed in this from the bench. Is he fit? Perhaps not. Belgium will want him fresh and firing for that quarter-final match against Spain, which is looking increasingly likely.

Sebastian Berhalter nearly made me eat my words. He is really unlucky.

That's as good a chance as the United States have had this half.

The ball is headed clear in the penalty box but it comes to Sebastian Berhalter and he strikes it sweetly but can't get it on target.

It needs a goal in the next five minutes. If USA gets a goal, then it's game on. However, since they conceded Hans Vanaken's goal, they have been nowhere near it. At the moment, they don't deserve anything.

Timothy Castagne is caught by Antonee Robinson.

They win the free-kick then Jeremy Doku wants a corner but it's given as a goal-kick.
