We know how dangerous Bournemouth are because they beat Arsenal in October, and if Mikel Arteta rests players then this game becomes even harder for the Gunners.

It is a tricky situation for Arteta, because he will want to head to Paris St-Germain for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final with a bit of momentum, but he has got to balance that with the risk of injury to his key players.

Bournemouth's form has improved of late, and the circumstances mean they definitely have a decent chance of doing the double over Arsenal this season.

This all boils down to what the Arsenal team is, so it is difficult to make a call without knowing that, but they are at home and even if they are not at full strength then I can still see them getting a draw.

Sutton's prediction: 1-1

Who else is a bit shocked to see Mikel Arteta name a side as strong as this with PSG coming up on Wednesday?

Ipswich Town

Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna, speaking to Premier League Productions: “I’m really proud. It was always going to be a tough game for us.

“I don’t think it had been a 2-0 game, but the group responded really well. It took a great goal to get us back into it, but the group stuck together and I think we deserved at least a point.

“It’s been a challenge [this season]. We knew everything would have to go right, and it hasn’t. We know injuries has been a part of that. There’s frustration in there, but it is what it is. The boys who have been available have given their all pretty much every week.

“The motivation hasn’t been hard. A lot of the boys are playing in the Premier League for the first time. The only hard bit has been pulling them together as a group. I think you can see that they’re still really fighting for the club.”

On Julio Enciso’s goal: “That’s what he’s capable of. We’d have liked to have him available for more of the season because that individual difference can get you points in this league.”

This match may no longer have title implications it is important in the race for Europe.

Arsenal's spot in next seasons Champions League is yet to be confirmed - they have a seven point gap over sixth but there are still 12 points to play for.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, could go eighth with a win.

Andoni Iraola knows the difficulty of the task his side faces today at Arsenal.

Three points are needed if the Cherries are to make a push for Europe not many sides come away from the Emirates with a win.

"We have to respect Arsenal knowing they have been better then us over the season, but maybe over 90 minutes we can definitely beat them," Iraola said.

The Gunners have it all to do in Paris on Wednesday if they are to reach the final.

Not the result what David Moyes and the Everton team wanted - they let it slip.

It was brilliant goal from Julio Encsio and then Ipswich were better in the second half. It emphasises that there's a lot of work to be done with this Everton team over the summer.

Fulham

Fulham boss Marco Silva, speaking to BBC MOTD: "We did show a great spirit, commitment and attitude and in the second half some good moments of quality too.

"This was a game both teams wanted to win, it is always difficult in a game like this, that is like a final.

"At 1-0 at half time we had two great chances to equalise the game. Even with 10 men, very unlucky ourselves pushing them back. They were wasting time every single time and that showed how difficult it was for them.

"We have to keep looking to the next one. Today was a final and our next final is against Everton. We have to keep fighting."

Arsenal

The title race may have over in a lot of your minds for a number of weeks now but last Sunday, it was confirmed Liverpool will lift their 20th league title.

Mikel Arteta had refused to give up the case when asked by journalists in previous weeks but he has finally spoken about the hurt at missing out.

“I understand that it's a team that is being more consistent and it has a lot of the ingredients that you need to win it, but it's very painful.

“My motivations are much more focused in other aspects than that one but it hurts to watch it, that's for sure. They've done it in a manner, in a way, that has given no chance to the others. You have to congratulate that as well and you have to accept that there are reasons why you haven't been able to achieve it and try to improve.”
