As it turns out, that is the last play of any note as Tony Clarke leaves the pitch to a hail of boos and abuse from the home fans.

As it turns out, there was no offside flag and Clarke merely seems to have changed his mind on the penalty decision. We will try to get some clarity post-game.

Nonetheless, Larne come away unbeaten in 10 with a third clean sheet in a row and top of the table at Christmas. The Larne fans are still making plenty of noise before they leave but they will certainly enjoy their turkey dinners on Thursday. Crusaders now have not scored in their last five games albeit a much improved performance today.
