AFC Wimbledon midfielder Callum Maycock has signed a two-year contract extension at the League One club.

The 28-year-old made 176 appearances for Solihull Moors before joining the Dons in June 2024, winning promotion from League Two in his first season.

"I'm very pleased to sign again," Maycock told AFC Wimbledon's website. "I really enjoy it here.

"It's such a big club with a unique history and the direction it wants to go in is very positive."

Both of Maycock's goals last season were winners against sides who were relegated from League One, helping Johnnie Jackson's team stay up by four points.

The Birmingham-born former England C international netted in 1-0 victories at Port Vale in February and at home to Northampton Town in March.
