Exeter City striker Sonny Cox has been challenged to score more goals after his return from injury.
The 21-year-old has missed almost three months with a groin problem, but came on as a substitute in the 1-0 win over AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday night.
The homegrown forward has scored just twice since the start of last season, but manager Gary Caldwell feels he has the ability to make a difference up front.
"I want to see a hunger and a desire to get in the team, stay in the team and score goals," he told BBC Radio Devon.
"I think Sonny Cox has all the attributes needed to be a League One player and more.
"But being critical of Sonny we've not seen that enough. We've seen against Bolton he was phenomenal in the home game where he scored two amazing goals, but that was two seasons ago now and we don't see enough of that.
"He's got it in him, I see it in moments, but he needs to come with a mentality and a belief in himself that he can go and show that week in, week out at League One [level] because he has shown in fleeting moments that he can do it."

Sonny Cox has missed 12 weeks with a groin injury
Cox tore a muscle in his groin during the 2-1 loss at Stevenage on 20 September and spent the best part of 12 weeks on the sidelines.
As well as his run-out for the final 20 minutes of the win over Wimbledon, he has also featured for Exeter's Under 21 side in the Premier League Cup.
Cox faces stiff competition from Jayden Wareham and Josh Magennis for a role in the City strikeforce, but says he is aware that he will get more chances if he can find the back of the net more consistently.
"As an attacking player I want to score goals, so definitely score more goals," Cox told BBC Radio Devon.
"The way I'll do that is by playing games, so I need to get back in the squad and just score a few goals and hopefully I can kick on from there."
