Cove Rangers held on to beat Partick Thistle and secure their first Scottish Championship away win of the season.

Mitch Megginson headed the first-half winner from Cieran Dunne's cross, while goalkeeper Scott Fox kept out the hosts with a string of saves.

Thistle lost striker Brian Graham to a straight red card 20 minutes from time and Cove saw out a first win in five.

They go four points clear of second-bottom Arbroath as Thistle stay fourth after a second straight home loss.
