The rout continued in the second period with Ryan getting his second.
And Andy Winter got the fourth strike of the match midway through the half as Thistle slipped a place to fourth.
Ian McCall's side can reclaim third if they win their game in hand against Dunfermline Athletic on Tuesday. Hamilton are seventh, nine points clear of the relegation zone.
