Dunfermline Athletic leapfrogged Raith Rovers into second place in the Scottish Championship after a convincing victory in the Fife derby.

Declan McManus fired the home side ahead just before the break and Aaron Comrie added the second with a fine individual goal after the break.

Brad Spencer pulled one back from long-range, but Fraser Murray replied with a stunning free-kick and simple finish.

Dunfermline are now nine points behind leaders Hearts.

Rovers' first defeat in four games away from home leaves them three points behind their neighbours but with a game in hand.

The Pars' joy at only a second win in 10 outings was tempered by forward Ryan Dow being taken off on a stretcher after picking up an injury in the lead-up to the second goal.
