What a match that was and much respect to Ratajski, he was down and out at 3-1 down and three match darts against him. I don't think he can quite believe what has happened in that game.
It was a masterclass of finishing.

A reminder that Wesley Plaisier had three match darts to win that match in the sixth set.
Given that he had a 55.56% checkout rate from the first two rounds - the second highest of the tournament - he will feel he has missed a massive opportunity.
Plaisier 3-4 Ratajski
Both men averaged over 95, both were more than 40% on doubles.
Wesley Plaisier won't feel it now, but he should be very proud of that showing and his performance through these Championships.
Who needs seeds? Two unheralded heroes have put on a classic at the Palace.

Needing 116 - single 20, treble 20... DOUBLE 18!
The Pole has won it from 3-1 down, an exceptional Ally Pally comeback.
Plaisier 3-3 Ratajski (1-2)
Krzysztof Ratajski is 48 - this could be the biggest win of his life.
Wesley Plaisier however is well ahead in the fourth leg - he sets up a 1-0 finish, it would be his first 100-plus checkout of the match.
Ratajski lurks on 116...
Plaisier 3-3 Ratajski (1-2)
You can feel the nerves emanating through the television screen.
Krzysztof Ratajski, at the third time of asking, hits D16 to move one leg from a stunning victory.
Plaisier 3-3 Ratajski (1-1)
This is not pretty, but boy is it engrossing.
Wesley Plaisier tries to throw a no-look 180, and misses!
Plaisier 3-3 Ratajski (1-1)
Wesley Plaisier must be wondering how he doesn't have this match wrapped up by now.
He sets up 83 to hold throw and level the set - but misses twice at D16. Suddenly it just isn't landing.
But Ratajski, who had been flowing so well, misses twice at D4 to break!
And Plaisier, after two doubles missed at his next visit, nails the third and levels. Such drama.

Nearly 50 minutes of play and there's absolutely nothing to separate them.
Plaisier 3-3 Ratajski (0-1)
Krzysztof Ratajski has not been ahead at any point in this match. He needs 86 to hit the front here.
And he nails D7 to do so.
Let's go leg by leg for this decisive set...

Wesley Plaisier declines the big fish, and sets up 65 to win.
He wants 25, but hits the bull - then misses D4 after the set-up.
Ratajski needs another big finish, 127, and he so nearly gets it - but misses D8...
However Plaisier busts! And Ratajski takes it on the next visit!
We go the distance.
Plaisier 3-2 Ratajski (2-2)
The first sign of nerves in this match?
Wesley Plaisier misses three darts at doubles - D20, D10 then D5 - for a 2-1 lead in the set. Ratajski, who wasn't on a finish until two visits after opponent, sneaks through to win the leg.
But against the head, Plaisier has another two at tops in the following leg, and gets the second bang on.
If Plaisier holds here, he wins.
Players making it through to the last 32 have earned £35,000 for their efforts so far.
Those who win their third-round matches will take home a minimum of £60,000.
And in case you missed it, the player who lifts the Sid Waddell Trophy on 3 January will also pocket the £1m first prize.

Brilliant bottle. Ratajski has taken out 127, 152 and 117 to stay in the World Championship. His opponent was sat on tops to win it.
