Jonny Clayton is the in-form player in the Premier League at the moment.

Stephen Bunting looked confident up there tonight though, so it is a coin toss for who goes through for me.

Seems a shame that you get nothing for a 9-darter. I think it should get a bonus point.

Sometimes even when you lose a match, a 9 darter brings its rewards, and for Josh that will bring just that .

Every player that hits a nine-darter is gifted a set of 18ct gold darts. Not bad.

    And breathe.

Josh Rock may remain bottom of the table with zero points, but that nine-darter is a moment he is never, ever going to forget.

    Amazing scenes.

But it's Gian van Veen who will face Gerwyn Price in the semi-finals.

    OH MY GOODNESS!!!!

Josh Rock's confidence is absolutely shot in my opinion.

I kind of feel for him at the moment. He will feel absolutely desperate knowing that he isn't able to play his best stuff.

    Wayne Mardle
Former World Matchplay finalist on Sky Sports

I've always said that if you don't settle in the Premier League then you're in trouble and Josh Rock looks like an unsettled man.

You can group them and you can spread them and you really don't know when it is going to happen.

It is not to say that Josh Rock won't come again but at the moment it feels like he peaked in the summer of 2025 with the World Cup win and a run to the semi-finals of the World Matchplay.
