'What an over, what a batsman' - Sobers' six sixes

It was the over that stunned world cricket.

Sir Garfield Sobers became the first player to hit six sixes in an over in a first-class match, at St Helen's in Swansea, whilst playing for Nottinghamshire in 1968.

Speaking after the game he said: "I don't concentrate on records. Only with the last ball of the over I thought, well if I've hit five I may as well try for the other one."

The legendary former West Indies all-rounder, regarded as one of the greatest cricketers of all time, has died aged 89. He played 93 Tests between 1954 and 1974, scored 8,032 runs and took 235 wickets.
