Ajaz Patel bowls two full tosses in his final over.
Kyle Verreynne misses out on the first getting just a single but Liam Patterson-White connects with the second sending the ball over the rope at long on.
Ten off the over and that is Patel done with 10 overs going for 66.
Helm c O Robinson b Ghafari 40 (Middlesex 224-8 - target 255) v Durham
Durham bowler Shaf Ghafari is celebrating this time as he persuades Tom Helm to nick behind!
Helm is afforded a warm reception as he returns to the dressing room - having shared a stand of 79 with Luke Hollman tio give Middlesex a sniff of a chance.
They need another 31 with two wickets standing.

Kyle Verreynne leaves one then reaches for one. The first is given as a wide the second would have been had the Notts batter not got a toe end to it.
Singles from the over but - four of them - and the wide nudges the score along slowly. Still 91 from 60 balls.

Still 96 needed from 66 balls and it is Tom Scriven on again for his ninth over.
He starts with a dot and the tension is growing.

Michael Burns remains unmoved as the spinner waves his arms and drops to his knees and Helm survives.
Good over for Durham, though, with only two runs conceded. And now they bring back Ben Stokes...

Still 101 needed from 72 balls but the pressure is building on Notts.
Tom Scriven takes a wicket and concedes just one run. His intervention has been significant but it is hard to escape the feeling it was the free hit run out that has discombobulated the Outlaws.

The Notts man stands deep in his crease and tries to launch it back over the bowler's head for six but skews it off an edge and puts it up in the air to Ian Holland at mid off.
That is a blow for Notts with 101 still needed.

Helm has moved on to 38 not out - the best of his career in List A cricket while Luke Hollman squirts another boundary through point to advance to 47.
This has been a remarkable effort by Middlesex's eighth-wicket pair, whatever the outcome.

Jack Haynes and Kyle Verreynne shared a partnership of 154 in the victory over Yorkshire on Friday night and even half of that would presumably put Notts within touching distance of the final.
Haynes gets a tickle on a leg side delivery from Ajaz Patel which just evades the fielder at fine leg and goes for four to bring up the 200 for the chasing side.
Hameed c Cox b Scriven 54 (Leics 303-7 v Notts 193-4)
Haseeb Hameed looks like he is trying to steer that through third man but he has feathered it to Ben Cox and Tom Scriven has his first wicket.
A calamitous quarter of an hour's play with the Notts captain front, right and centre of all of it.
Cox has only been back on the field five balls and taken a catch to put Leics right back in to this match.
Still 111 needed from 85 balls.

Tom Helm brings up the 50 partnership in style, thrashing Shaf Ghafari over midwicket for six - and he's contributed 31 of those at just over a run a ball.
Is there a glimmer of hope yet for the home side?

In all the confusion Ajaz Patel goes for 11 and now Haseeb Hameed moves to his half century (in 44 balls with five fours and one six).

Helm recovers to jab a single out on the off side and Middlesex take two more from the over, bringing the target down to 63 from 12 overs.

Stephen Eskinazi is feeling his left shoulder and is leaving the field. Ben Cox, who got clocked by Haseeb Hameed, appears to be ready to come back on.
Sheridan Gumbs is on already as sub fielder and Jonny Tattersall is behind the stumps as a sub with Ian Holland is acting captain. It is like an American Football match this.

It looks as though that rattled the bowler, who then sends down a no-ball - and the resulting free hit is plinked for another boundary by Luke Hollman.
Middlesex need another 71.

Notts need to settled down here and what better man to come in after that mix-up than Kyle Verreynne.
Few have been in better form in this competition than the South African who has one century (on Friday against Yorkshire) and five half centuries in his 548 runs this campaign.
It puts him 32 runs behind Keaton Jennings and Noah Thain in third place in the runs scored so far.

Helm has advanced into double figures on 10, while Luke Hollman has 35 not out and Middlesex need 86 more from 16 overs. Durham need three more wickets.

McCann run out 64 (Leics 303-7 v Notts 161-3)

The only way you can be out from a free hit is to to be run out but after Haseeb Hameed skies a catch to Stephen Eskinazi at mid off Freddie McCann and his captain manage to end up running to the same end.
Hameed looked to have called through for a second but changed his mind as Eskinazi caught and sent the ball back to Jonny Tattersall behind the stumps.
McCann was left stranded with no chance, having to turn around despite being three quarters of the way to a second run.
He turned and was run out by half the track.
