If you are in the South Africa dressing room and you are listing to us, I would stop now as Kapp looks like she is marching off there about to rip someone's face off. She is covering her mouth, saying some expletives.

    Kapp c J Kerr b A Kerr 14 (SA 207-3)

Marizanne Kapp smashes Melie Kerr skywards and the ball comes down with snow on.

The elder Kerr sister - Jess - is stationed under the ball at deep mid-on and stays calm and composed to pouch the catch.

Kapp, however, is furious with herself.

If she was bogged down in her dreams, and she was thinking what ball would I liked to be bowled and I think it would be that one. That really was a ghastly deliver!

  4. SA 202-2published at 34 overs

A bizarre end to the over.

Sune Luus seems content to grind it out to get South Africa over the line after some tight bowling from Brooke Halliday - five dots from the first five balls.

Halliday then serves up a high full toss - deemed a no-ball - which Luus laps over the wicketkeeper's head for four.

From the free hit that follows, Luus chips one into the air but the catch is spilled.

  5. SA 196-2published at 33 overs

Marizanne Kapp is efficiently going about her business to knock off the remaining runs here.

She is content to see off three dots from Melie Kerr before opening the face of her bat to guide the ball away for four through third.

  6. SA 191-2published at 32 overs

New Zealand doing very un-New Zealand things in the field.

Marizanne Kapp gets off the mark with a cover drive off Lea Tahuhu which goes through the legs of Maddy Green's long barrier.

Another straight drive from Kapp later in the over races away to the boundary and this time it's Sophie Devine with the misfield as she seemingly dives over the ball.

    Brits b Tahuhu 101 (SA 185-2)

    Commentator's curse, Fran.

A filthy swipe across the line from Tazmin Brits to Lea Tahuhu but the ball stays a fraction low and she's bowled.

  9. SA 185-1published at 31 overs

Tazmin Brits is on a bit of a hot streak. That's her fourth century in her last five ODI innings.

Tazmin Brits has been brilliant hasn't she? It will be a cherry on top if she can see her team home.

Brits celebates with unfurling an imaginary bow and arrow and firing towards her South Africa team-mates in the stands.

After all the shenanigans, Tazmin Brits is given not out for a stumping. Which we already knew wasn't out.

    Confused? Yep, me too.

There's a suggestion there might be some bat on it but that isn't checked. Just the stumping.

Tazmin Brits was unhappy the referral from New Zealand came so late and is grumbling to the on-field umpires.

  16. New Zealand reviewpublished at 28.4 overs

Tazmin Brits goes for a big waft at a delivery from Melie Kerr, loses her balance a touch with her footing and Isabella Gaze whips the bails off.

Brits is deemed to have got her bat back but New Zealand appear to not have trusted the umpire's view and decided to refer it upstairs to the TV umpire.

  17. SA 173-1published at 28 overs

The Kerr siblings bowling in tandem, but it's not going to plan.

A wide delivery - possibly an attempted slower ball - from Jess Kerr and Tazmin Brits moves into the nineties with a clinical thrash through point.

Easy as you like for South Africa at the moment.

It's really interesting to see the New Zealand team still having the momentum on the field and having high standards. I am just not sure what they are going to do.

  19. SA 166-1published at 27 overs

Melie Kerr tosses the ball up, hoping to draw a false stroke from Tazmin Brits, but the South Africa batter has been there too long now to be troubled by the ploy.

Brits responds with a powerful low drive which races way down the ground for four.

South Africa will have one eye on getting this done inside 40 overs.
