  1. Aus 116-1published at 18 overs

Seamer Kranti Gaud took a bit of tap earlier, but is summoned by Harmanpreet Kaur.

The India skipper deciding she maybe needs to hold back a few overs for the economical Shree Charani later in Australia's innings.

Much better from Gaud with five singles off the over.

  2. Aus 111-1published at 17 overs

A bit of a mix up between Alyssa Healy and Ellyse Perry.

Healy nudges Deepti Sharma into the leg side and sets off for a single, but then changes her mind and sends back Perry - who has already made decent ground - to the non-striker's end.

Perry dives to make her ground despite a decent shy from substitute fielder Radha Yadav.

I think Australia have to be a bit careful here as they are only a little above the required run rate. The thing about Ellyse Perry being out there is that she does tend to take some time to get going, and if dot balls pile up, then it is going to put pressure on Alyssa Healy.

  4. Aus 105-1published at 16 overs

Shree Charani was one of the breakout stars of the last WPL, and her first wicket in the tournament was Ellyse Perry.

The Australian manages to pick up a slightly shorter one and whip it into the leg side for a single.

  5. Aus 100-1published at 15 overs

Back under way after drinks and Australia reach three figures. A few signs of encouragement for India, though.

Deepti Sharma holds the ball back a fraction and Alyssa Healy is duped into coming down the pitch, and ends up getting away with one with an inside edge.

Richa Ghosh was eyeing a stumping a chance to make amends for her earlier mistake.

Spinners have looked a little bit harder to get away. This is almost like a rebuilding or a gathering phase for Australia at 95-1 after 13 overs.

  9. Aus 95-1published at 13 overs

Alyssa Healy rocks on to the back foot and cuts Deepti Sharma for four.

A couple of balls later and Ellyse Perry slices one through slip to get off the mark with a slightly more streaky boundary.

Australia bat incredibly deep and they'll back themselves all the way down. Alana King got 50 the other day, and she is set to come in at nine.

  11. Aus 85-1published at 12 overs

Just when it looked like this was proving to be a breeze for Australia, India get themselves a foothold in the game.

If anything, Phoebe Litchfield hit it too well, but straight at the fielder. That was such a sharp catch from Sneh Rana there.

  13. wicket

    Litchfield c Rana b Charani 40 (Aus 85-1)

    The crowd in Visakhapatnam erupts!

Phoebe Litchfield reverse sweeps the second ball from left-arm spinner Shree Charani's over, but ends up pinging it straight into the hands of Sneh Rana at square leg.

A fine take from Rana. That was travelling.

Similar to the Indian opening pair, Phoebe Litchfield and Alyssa Healy are really setting the tone, and they would be pretty happy with 84 after the first 11 overs.

  15. Aus 84-0published at 11 overs

Australia's run rate is currently 7.63. They've approach this chase with real focus so far.

  16. Healy not outpublished at 10.5 overs

UltraEdge shows Alyssa Healy has got a chunk of bat on it.

A review more in hope than expectation.

  17. India reviewpublished at 10.5 overs

Phoebe Litchfield cuts Sneh Rana to backward point and her heart was in her mouth when Jemimah Rodrigues lurked into view.

However, the ball drops short of the India fielder.

Rana strikes Alyssa Healy on the pad with the penultimate delivery of the over and appeals. Not out but India take a punt and decide to review it.

It's amazing how quickly a score can change. Phoebe Litchfield would have felt that she got off to a slow start, and all of a sudden, she is on 39 off 34 balls and well in control.

  20. Aus 82-0published at 10 overs

Classy stuff from Phoebe Litchfield as she picks up three consecutive fours off Amanjot Kaur, including an eye-catching scoop first up.

It gets worse for India when Litchfield skips down the pitch to a slower balls and misses, but Richa Ghosh makes a dog's dinner of the stumping chance.

Litchfield rubs salt in the wound by drilling another four down the ground.
