Arshdeep Singh will bowl the first over of the day from the Pavilion End - a hush falls over the Lord's crowd.

He's bowling to Ben Duckett, with Jacob Bethell at the other end.

Things went a lot better for England in Sophia Gardens on Tuesday as they completed a four-wicket victory over their opponents.

India were bowled out for 233 having been put into bat, and Joe Root's unbeaten 99 helped his side reach their target with over five overs to spare.

India drew first blood in this series, beating England by six wickets at Edgbaston on Tuesday.

The home side were bowled for 258 having chosen to bat, with Joe Root and Liam Dawson's partnership of 121 accounting for a large proportion of their runs.

India reached their target just after the 45-over mark, with Shubman Gill scoring 80 before retiring hurt.

With five minutes to go until the start of play, both teams are lined-up in front of the famous Lord's pavilion.

India great Yuvraj Singh has rung the bell to mark the imminent start of play, and we'll now observe a moment of silence to mark the passing of West Indies' all-time great all-rounder Garfield Sobers.

"We are not ones who rely on stats too much. Arshdeep is a great bowler. We wanted to have four seamers as spinners haven't really offered much in middle overs as much as fast bowlers.

"We were in a great position until 25 overs in the second ODI but we then lost too many wickets. I think we needed to post a total of 280-300. If our middle order can get good runs, we will be in a good position."

England captain Harry Brook: "We're going to have a bat today. It looks like a good surface for us to put a decent score on the board and put them under pressure."
