Norman Jr is coming back into this but it feels too little too late.

He lands to the body but Haney is happy to back off and reset. There is no way Haney is going to engage in a scrap.

Norman Jr might have taken the last two rounds - possibly even three - but that knockdown for Haney is still giving him the edge.

Haney is staying clear of danger for the most part now. He probably took five of the opening six rounds and earned a knockdown too, so is well in front.

Haney narrowly misses with another as uses the ropes for leverage.

A little more success than we've seen in previous rounds for Norman Jr when he gets to work on Haney in the corner.

Norman Jr tries to switch up the approach by holding but the referee is straight on it and pulls them apart.

Haney is still having a great impact with the jab.

Haney is enjoying himself in there. You get the sense he has something to prove in there tonight.

Haney delivers a lovely one-two before backing off and then working the jab nicely.

There is blood smeared across the face of Norman Jr.

The champion hasn't come up with the answers yet and Haney continues to pull away.

Haney has 15 wins inside the distance but hasn't stopped an opponent since 2019.

There were questions over whether he'd be able to adapt to a third weight class, especially going straight into a world title fight.

But Haney is answered those critics so far.

Huge round for Haney! An almighty shot drops Norman Jr.

Haney taunts Norman Jr as he falls to the floor but he gets back up to beat the count.

Haney is straight on him as he sense the potential for a finish. Norman Jr shows enough presence to hang on to the end of the round.

Norman Jr only needs one second to inflict damage. But Haney has proven in that arena that he can move for 36 minutes. This could be a cat and mouse game.

It's a slow three minutes but Norman Jr starts well.

Haney is sizing up his opponent. A lot of feeling out.
