We finish with a win for Keely Hodgkinson, but maybe not as quick as she would have liked. But the most important thing is she is back to winning ways.

Women's 800m
Keely Hodgkinson gets her first Diamond League win of the season!
Back to winning ways for the Olympic champion.
It's maybe not quite as fast as she'd have hoped, certainly not prior to the start of the outdoor season, but victory is the main thing to boost confidence.
A time of 1:56.21 with Netherlands' Femke Broeders-Bol second in 1:56.46.

Keely Hodgkinson is looking forward but what does she have left?
Women's 800m
Keely Hodgkinson is forced a little wide but here she goes round the final bend.
Women's 800m
Keely Hodgkinson is in second, just waiting on the shoulder as they cross the line and the bell sounds.
Femke Broeders-Bol is not far behind.
Women's 800m
Away they go!
Last race of the afternoon. What has Keely Hodgkinson got for us?

Keely Hodgkinson knows the season has been good but not quite good enough.

The women's 800m world record is a very fast time but Keely has broken the world indoor record this year and is running well. Although there have been a few blips sometimes they can help you re-focus on your goals.
The world of 800m has changed massively in the last six months with some really fast times.
Keely is very capable of breaking it but is the timing right for her?

Ethiopia's Olympic silver medallist Tsige Duguma and Dutch star Femke Broeders-Bol, who has made rapid strides since moving up from 400m to 800m this season and recorded a time of 1:55.60 in Paris, look to be the main threats.
However, training partner and world silver medallist Georgia Hunter Bell has pulled out of the meet because of a heavy cold.
Rising British star Phoebe Gill, who reached the Olympic semi-finals in Paris aged 17, had been set to make her Diamond League debut, having battled back from an injury that ruled her out of the 2025 outdoor season. However, she had to pull out on Friday because of a knee problem.
Here we go then. It's Keely Hodgkinson time.
Can she get her first outdoor win of the season?

Image source, Getty ImagesI have never seen Josh Kerr in such great shape. He looks so conditioned but training is one thing - to step up and do what everyone expects of you is special.
It's not just what he did today, it's the whole process. It's been a proper mission and not an impossible one because he's completed it.
Kerr breaks mile world record
Josh Kerr has finally stopped running, just in time to collect a glass plate to commemorate his victory... and a cheque for 50 thousand US dollars for breaking the world record.
Not bad for less than four minutes' work. (Plus, the many years of hard graft, of course.)
Kerr breaks mile world record
Josh Kerr has smashed a world record and just kept running, he's lapping up the adoration from the stands as he continues on his lap of honour.
We've still got the women's 800m to come. How do you follow that?!
Well, I guess if anyone can, Keely Hodgkinson can...

No Josh Kerr, no party!
He knew in the final few metres the lights were behind, the world is behind him and the history was behind him. He is making new figures and new numbers.
You could go back to all the expectation on Roger Bannister breaking the four-minute mile and maybe we haven't seen anything in a similar fashion, but we have today.
Image source, Getty ImagesThere was just no sign of Josh Kerr faltering there.
He must have been hurting but you would not know it, he looked so strong all the way to the line.
There was a huge roar as he crossed the line.
A very special performance from the Brit.
'Unbelievable!' - GB's Kerr breaks fastest mile world record
Paula Radcliffe

You can see the emotion in the eyes of Josh Kerr. He's absolutely crushed that. You could feel it building and building in the stadium when he started to move further and the crowd were right behind him. I'm sure he could feel that.
He's absolutely smashed it.

Get in! Oh my word. He said he could do it and he's done it. Crikey! He didn't just break it, he's taken half a second off it.

What a run from the Scot - and the London Stadium erupts!
A new world record of 3:42.66 - that's half a second taken off the previous best.
Incredible stuff. He said he'd do and it looks like he's a man of his word!

Has Josh got it in his legs? He's still going strong. Come on Josh!

Josh Kerr is digging deep and he's ahead of the wave lights...
Will he do it?!
