What's
your name?
Mat, Rivelin
Where
is it?
Santino's, 371-373, Ecclesall Road, Sheffield, S11
What's
the number? 0114
267 0078
What's
the grub like, then?
Very good indeed. Pizza base garlic bread and garlic mushrooms were
just enough to whet the appetite. The lamb kebab, vegetables and
rice satisfied and the salmon con moutarde was hailed as a new favourite.
The tiramasu for desert was very pleasant and caused weight gain
each time I glanced at it.
What
did you drink?
Carafe of Italian red that went down well with the food.
What's
the crowd like?
A nice mixture of couples, families and friends on the average night.
And
the vibe?
On a quiet night this is a fantastic place to take your nearest
and dearest for an intimate dining experience. But on a Friday or
the weekend you might want to avoid the work parties and marauding
hen nighters.
Anything
else you'd like to say? [Greedy Cow recommends booking in advance - it gets very busy,
as she's found to her disappointment!]
Value
for money?
The average meal comes to around £40.00 all told and the high quality
of the food means that you won't feel you've been taken for a ride
either.

I agree with the review for Santino's on Ecclesall Rd, Sheffield
except for on point. The average meal spend is given at £40. My
wife and I have never managed to spend more than £50 for two three
course meals including drinks. All in all highly recommended.
