He is heading to Mumbai to complete post-production on his debut film I – Proud to be an Indian opposite Bollywood heartthrob, Sohail Khan.

It’s quite an overwhelming feeling,’ said 22 year old Imran Ali Khan at the Mela.

‘Especially knowing this is the final live commitment I have in the UK before the film comes out'.

'It’s always great to see familiar faces in the audience who supported the group’s work and now I hope they’ll give me the same affection as I embark on a new challenge and in a new direction’, continued Imran.

‘It’s a great script and the story is something that’s never been done before. So being a part of that alone is good enough’, said Imran.

From an earlier age, Imran has always dreamt of seeing himself on the Hindi silver screen.

Initially, acting was purely an interest to him but this gradually turned to passion.

It was then, that he decided to leave London and pursue a career in acting.

He gained entry into Kishore Nimit Kapoor’s Acting Academy, in Mumbai where he got a chance to further his acting talents.
