We’ve managed to drop in another couple of phrases that will come in very handy. Tha rudeigin a dhìth orm – this means “I have a want of (for) something”. If you’ve mislaid something and you want to say you’re needing a pen, for example, you’d say: Tha peann a dhìth orm.
Another really useful phrase is Melodaidh’s last line: Cha leig thu leas. This means: “You don’t need to”. You’ll be very likely to hear this in conversations. Have a gander at the additional useful phrases below which will give you some more ideas and vocabulary.
