Mel | Brochan > WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2007 Hai! Ciamar a tha sibh an-diugh? I think Melodaidh and Seanair have thoroughly enjoyed their month in Fort William. Melodaidh even learnt how to snowboard and managed to fit in some climbing. Munro wasn’t far behind her of course and was following her every move. Seanair obviously enjoyed his hill walking and although Morag participated, she did look a little purple at the top of the Ben. Morag bhochd! (Morag vochk - Poor Morag!) Onwards and upwards! We’re now heading for Eilean a’ Cheò, An t-Eilean Sgitheanach. That’s the Isle of Mist, also known as the Isle of Skye! It’s the biggest island in the Inner Hebrides, with lots for our explorers to see and do. I just hope they can be creative and are keen on their acting for my next task! …And Action! 'S e am balach Dwelly! POSTED BY DWELLY AT 19.59 PM - 0 COMMENTS MONDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2007 Dè tha dol, a chàirdean? (What’s doing, friends?) What a time our travellers are having, the blisters and bunions are out in force! The Mountain Film Festival began in the Fort this weekend and what a programme of events it has lined up. Our travellers will have a brilliant time. They have some fabulous guest speakers and a great selection of films that even hail from the film Festival in Banff, Canada. Not only that but to finish this week off in style they’re holding a cèilidh up Aonach Mòr! Fort William seems to be THE place for Melodaidh who is unstoppable and Seanair is striding like a man 20 years his junior! Ah yes, the Highland fresh air is good for you!! Oidhche mhath an-dràsta (Oich-uh va an-draas-dah – Good night for now) Dwelly POSTED BY DWELLY AT 23.16 PM - 0 COMMENTS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2007 Halò, ciamar a tha thu? Is mise Dwelly (Hello, how are you? I’m Dwelly) Well, our avid adventurers are now in Fort William, the Outdoor Capital of the UK and outdoors is where they’ll be! I have lots of fun activities in store including mountain biking and walking to name but a few. Ah yes, there’s nothing better than getting fresh air into the lungs and stretching your legs up Ben Nevis, let’s just hope it’s a dry day! I’m going to make sure that even Morag participates in a bit of exercise this week, it’s been a while since she’s been hill walking. Maybe they’ll even take in a tour a cèilidh to keep them on their toes! Ho ho ho, they’ll be in need of some rest and relaxation after this week! Tioraidh an-dràsta, Dwelly POSTED BY DWELLY AT 04.33 AM - 0 COMMENTS |
