George's Story

G.E. norman was in the 24th bn. London Regiment. Joined up in 1914 died in Rouen military hospital 23 sept from injuries recieved by a sniper bullet intered at Rouen. I was Told that his wife [my Grand mother] recieved a bill to cover the cost of the blanket in which he was buried!!!

All I know of his service history is that apart from France he served in Gallipolli in 1915
