Alexander Kewen's Story

No memories. My father's brother who died when my father was 8 after losing his own father in 1917.

Alexander was the eldest son of Peter and Susan Laing. He was unlucky enough to lose his life four days short of the signing of the Armistace on 7th Nov 1918. His father had been killed the year before. He is buried at Maubeuge-Centre Cemetery
