Alfred George's Story

Alfred G Northcott was the third son of Thomas and Selina Northcott of Meavy in Devon. He was married to Lily (Elford) and had a daughter Helena. He died in the Amiens Offensive in the last weeks of WW1. Exactly 3 months later the Armistice was signed. He is buried in Chauny Communal Cemetery British Extension, Chauny, France.
