Moses's Story

Died in Britain of complications from appendicitis. He was a corporal stretcher bearer in France. His discharge states that he was "honest, worthy, industrious, intelligent and most reliable during his service." He has no war grave but is commemorated in Newcastle under Lyme cemetery along with his two brothers John and Walter who also died in the war, by their sister Florence.
