Harry's Story

A regular soldier who served with gallantly

A brave soldier of the First World War. Awarded 3 medals - Victory (mentioned in dispatches 24.01.16), British, and the Star. A regular soldier who served with gallantly and survived the trenches only to die at home in Ireland - a very different Ireland he had left where it was dangerous to mention you had served in the British Army. Remembered by his loving wife, 10 children and numberous grand and great-grandchildren.
