Renwick's Story

Renwick joined up in 1914 and found himself in the trenches near Arras with the 8BW. After time in the line, the battalion withdrew and it was during a weapons cleaning session that Renwick was killed by a comrade's weapon which had been accidentally discharged. Renwick's younger brother was in the same battalion and took part in his brother's funeral.
