The last twenty years has seen a revolution in the British cheese industry.
A new generation of women cheesemakers has emerged, reviving the recipes and techniques of previous generations and today we can boast of over 450 cheeses made in Britain. The Great North West Cheeseboard Challenge takes place on 8th October as part of the Manchester Food and Drink Festival. Gillian Hall from Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses and Beckie Joyce, from award winning Manchester delicatessen Love Saves The Day, join Jenni to discuss.
