Bethany
In memoriam of no-nonsense names. Here lies Dick (what breed? What age?) died June 30th. 1893 in Trevano Estate's pet cemetery. The six-year-old ex-racing greyhound, who ran under the name of Betheny Wood, is now Bethany (sic) Kelly of Warwick and here contemplates the passage of time and the vexed question of whether humans have souls.
