"When working at home combining drawing, painting, printmaking and writing, having little daytime contact except voices on the radio, I have become particularly fond of Radio 4. I welcome it as the great educator, and for its reassurance that private anxieties or celebrations might be slightly less pathetic due to speaking for others 'out there' in a similar predicament. My forlorn hope is that the 'voices from the box' will ever be aware of my efforts in the fine art scheme of things, and I dream about my images benefiting from being converted into word pictures read 'properly' on Radio 4!
