"In true Radio 4 style, I produce paintings that raise questions, without necessarily providing all the answers! Though my work is researched and rooted in meaning, everyone sees something different in each painting, which reflects a healthy and colourful spectrum of free opinion. In this respect I think Radio 4 and Art share the canvas, opening up the dimensions of debate... Inspired by recent Radio 4 interviews with Elaine Morgan and Graham Hancock, I've used the true colours of marine creatures to investigate latent memories from our aquatic ancestry that may have been passed down along with our genes..."
