"As a professional painter, music has an amazing effect on what I paint. When I hear a piece of music I begin to see shapes and colours, which control my work. I can only concentrate on a small part of the music, because the effect is so strong that I would experience overload – too many shapes and colours. I always try to listen to Desert Island Discs, because it provides short selections of music. This painting came from Phil Collins’ 'Another day in Paradise'."
