Justice for Harry Dunn - "finding the energy to keep going"
Since the death of their son, the parents of Harry Dunn have not wavered in their fight for justice. His grieving mum shares her candid thoughts after a legal breakthrough.
Since the death of their son two years ago, the parents of nineteen year old Harry Dunn have not wavered in their fight for justice. Harry – who was 19 – died when his motorbike was hit by a car in Northamptonshire – driven by an American citizen. Anne Sacoolas left the country soon afterwards – claiming diplomatic immunity – and has refused to come back. Sally Nugent and Dan Walker on BBC Breakfast have been speaking to Harry’s mum – Charlotte Charles - about her “big relief” now they’ve reached a settlement in a civil claim for damages made in the US. The family say they’ll continue to pursue criminal proceedings in the UK. This is Five Minutes On – Charlotte’s candid interview in which she describes the “treadmill of trying to keep going”.
