Alan Cumming stars in a dramatised biography of the silent screen's greatest romantic hero, Rudolph Valentino.

Born in Italy, Valentino persuaded his mother to finance a trip to America where he learnt to dance.

Accused of blackmail and after an affair in which his girlfriend shot her husband, he fled to California and entered the heart of the entertainment industry.

Fame and fortune followed but not without complications...
